ANN TAYLOR MAKES IT SIMPLE TO FIND THE RIGHT SIZE
At Ann Taylor, we make every effort to make sure our clothes provide an excellent fit for everybody. With a wide range of sizes, an extensive Petites collection and consistent sizing, it's easy to find the items that fit and flatter. Just check the Size Charts below, use a tape measure and you can be confident that you are ordering the right size for you. If you have any questions about the Ann Taylor fit, or for more details about a specific item, please email us at clientservices@anntaylor.com or call 1 800 DIAL ANN (1.800.342.5266) anytime.

Tips on measuring: Different measurements are needed for different garments. Check the Size Chart for the specific type of garment and see which measurements help you get the best fit. Please note that individual body dimensions vary. If you are in-between sizes you may prefer the next larger size, but follow your own fit preference (snug fit vs. generous fit).

Detailed Measurement Instructions
BUST
With arms at sides, measure fullest part of bust, keeping tape parallel to the floor.
WAIST
•  Measure around waist, over body (not over shirt or pants).
•  For Belts, measure either at natural waist as above, or 1" below the waist. Which measurement you choose is based upon where you like to wear your pants: at the natural waist, or lower on the hip.
HIPS
•  For Misses' sizing, stand with heels together, and measure approximately 8" below the waist.
•  For Petites' sizing, stand with heels together, and measure approximately 7 1/2" below the waist.
SLEEVE
With arm bent at 90 degrees, place hand on hip. Start at the center of the back of your neck and measure across the shoulder to the elbow down to the wrist
INSEAM
Measure similar-style pants that fit you well, from the crotch seam to bottom of pants. Add 1/2" to measurement for 100% cotton pants. The number of inches (to the nearest 1/2" or 1.5 cm) = inseam length.
